Action Script is a programming language used in flash. The Action Script makes animation, images, and animated movies. We use it for coding in the symbols, for movement of characters. We can make the characters move by coding it a collision detection, keyboard control, or loping. You can have a timer or score scale or maybe both for the game you will make. You use the Action Script also to embed, you will also see functions. Mostly all this is, is drawing and animation.
