1. What did you think about the article?
I think the article is very interesting, it describes his feelings directly and briefly. It surprises me an adult tried making is own game and now he knows the coding in making the game is hard to understand, but it will take time for him
2. How did it make you feel to read about your school and GLobaloria, a program that you participate in.
It made me feel proud that I have a chance to be in this, having the chance to be doing some other students would want to do. This is a great thing to do, and I am glad I have the chance to be part of this.

My game was not featured in the article but next time I would do my best to make my game more interesting for the players.

Respect
The definition of respect for me is to take care of what is school property, like the lockers, the restrooms. By damaging this property is showing you don't care about them. Like for example the computers in the Computer Lab, those are easy to break, by running or jumping. By showing respect to the computers you should hold them right so it wont fall out of your hands.
When in the hallways, you shouldn't be standing there waiting to for the bell to ring you should keep walking and go to class and have the decency to make the teachers work easier. During breakfast/lunch, just eat the food, don't through it everywhere so the janitors job will be easier to clean, without worrying about food being on the floor, on the walls, etc.
Another example of having respect for someone is to treat them how you would want to be treated when making an announcement in public, in the school or in class. Showing attention is the great way to show respect, also letting the announcer finish before making any comments or questions. Being nice when asked to do something is another great way to show respect.

Notes 02/23/12
Today we will have to finish the Intro, Team Intro, Audience, Gameplay, Learning Goal, Fun Factor, Smart Factor.Also today we will have to finish all and also do Style Factor, Originality Factor. After finishing all of them we need to save them on the flash files and also in the SkyDrive.
We need to save them as are team name and the scene it is, for example TeamName_Intro. We need to upload all the scenes to the SkyDrive to later make it in the Game Demo. It will be much easier if each team mate is working on a different scene, to finish them faster.

Nike - Sweatshops
I feel that every citizen of any state or country should have their basics rights, even if their poor. We all need to have some type of shelter for our family, so the people that are being worked to death should at least make enough money to feed not only one person but three or more.
Its really sad to hear about a person doing all this type of work and being treated like a slaves or animals. Not having food on one or more days would kill any of those workers and the factory would have to find a new replacement for that person, and that would be another person would be a victim of this situation . The business people should think through thinks as if that was them or their child working and see how they are killing all this people that are working a lot of hours for a little amount for a lot of hours in a day. Even the children of the workers are being victims, they don't have the opportunity to go to school or even see their parents because of the work.
The things I would do different is open the eyes of the people that are working, letting them know I am trying to help them get their basic rights. I would even tell them to not go to work and I would feed them an amount of food a day. This type of things would take time to be changed, but it is hard to change it if their country don't have laws for theim to have their basics rights. All this that the Nike Business workers are doing to this people is just not right. Its not right that the workers have to die because of the torturer that is going on at work every day.
Even the way Phil Knight, the CEO of the Nike company has not been to Indonesia. What makes people think when they hear that? Well it makes me think he knows what is going on, and I also think that the only problem is that he does not want to visit it because he does not want to see what is going on with his on eyes. Its sad to see this high people in the bussiness know about what is going on and dont do nothing to change something right now, before million of more people are death because of the reason they did not care at the beginning.

Object in the Sky!
The way I would make this event into a game is by creating what looks like a meteor and make it move around the background as if it was shooting around and make it gain points by getting something in a certain time.
I would focus on action for a genre, because its more interesting to have an adventure to play with and maybe another genre with that one as well.
My game would teach math equations that most of the grades have difficulty's with understanding.
The player would have to collect some items in a certain time, then move on an choose a topic to work with.
The hero would be an astronaut or scientist that would be discovering the meteor, and the enemy would be an alien trying to make you not get close to the meteor.
The type of animation the player would see would be keyboard control, and jumping. The player would not hear any sound.
The title of my game would be The Crazy Night because it was a crazy moment at a normal night.

March of the Penguins
1. The penguins have to over come a lot of a challenges, like the weather and the fact that they have to wait for months and they all have to get together and warm each other, while that happens some of their eggs slip out and they end up being froze just with a second of being out in the cold.
2. There habitat is super cold, its a challenge for them because they have to wait for weeks while their partner goes out and get food while the one that stays with the egg is trying its best to keep it warm and also not let it fall.
3. They have to adapt to being far away from the water because of the reason their predators will eat them, thats why they move far away from the water and it takes months for them to get food and go back and feed their partner.
4. Theirs a period of time where their is no sunlight because of the reason the climate is to cold. The affects of this is that the weather gets even more colder then usual.
5. It is important that the grounds is solid because they will not be able to mate. The male will not be able to get on top of the female.

Mini Game
Making a Mini Game is so easy, and that's because I have done this before. I like working on it because it can always help me on my game when I need to refresh my memory. The best part of making the mini game is that it helps you understand the code that the actions need. I like that the fact that I could go back and see the code for me to correct my errors. The easiest thing about the Mini Game is mostly adding the code but there's times you might get confused with other code. The worst part of the Mini Game is that some times the code does not work until you change things and make sure its correct.

2 Single Story 2011
What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community?
It means to describe the life of that place or community. The way they live at that place, they ways the community is.
Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community?
I have heard that people that live in the East Austin are least or middle class citizens. Everyone things that we don't care about school, that we are all bad and don't like doing anything, but the things that they are missing is that are parents do there hardest for us to have a home, food, and also are education. People would learn more about are community if they would live here for about a few years and see how things were going to change for them. Most of the population here is Mexicans and Africans. People assume we all do drugs or sell them just because of are community but they should experiment and see all the story's they have heard are not true.

I have heard that the North of Austin is the best side of Austin to live at because it is mostly were all the people visit or shop at. They might say there is not a lot of drug dealing. I learned this story by people that live in there. I think I would find out more information if I would visit it more or maybe even move up there.

1 Cyberbully 2011
This is my first blog post of the 2011-2012 school year.
How does the main character feel about using Clicksters in the beginning of the film?
Taylor at first was not sure about Clicksters, but after she found out that Scott was using it as well she decided to make her self the account.
What is her family situation?
Well her dad and mom are seperated. Her mom is super over protective with her, and also Taylor does not really get along with her brother.
What types of friendship does she have?
She had a normal, good friendship with her two best friends, but everything started to change when she made her Clicksters account.
When does the cyberbullying begin?
The cyberbullying began when she made her account, and it all started with Lindsay, the popular girl from school.
What is the result of the cyberbullying that Taylor experiences?
The result of the cyberbullying is people posted things that are not even true to her page, and also after a few days she lost her friends because of the things that were happening. The reason all this started is because of a guy named Jaimes that she had meet on Clicksters, he had posted that she had gave him STD.
What is the rest of the cyberbullying?
The rest of the cyberbullying is at school, Lindsay would say things that she would think were funny to say, but Taylor was not the only person that was going through this situation, there was a homosexual that was in the same situation.
What would you do if you were in Taylor's shoes?
If I were in her place I would of listed the people that were posting the comments and I would tell my mom to help me with the situation, also I would delete my account so the problem would not get worst.
How does Taylor react to the mean comments people keep posting about her?
She reacts shocked, she is not even aware of what people post for a little while because her mom had taken the computer away, because she posted a mean comment back to Lindsay. Well after a while that the cyberbullying began Lindsay and her friends had posted a video, acting out that Taylor was a slut, so Taylor got tierd of all those things that she tryied killing her because no one liked her and didnt wanna hang out with her, not even her best friends.
Does she ever try to stop people from posting insults? What could she have done differently?
At first she thought it was funny because she was already use to Lindsay saying insult, but then when everyone was insulting her she told her mom for her. So her mom tells her to delete the account but Taylor does not want to because she wants to talk more to Scott. Well if I were her I would of lisen to my mom and delete my account, maybe even move schools so things could changes.

Taylor felt lonley, she thought her friends would be there for her but she thought wrong because they said for her to not hang out with her no more because they do not want to be called things either.

Winding Down!
Winding Down
My teams name is the Jolly Ranchers. :)
The name of are game is the Glaciers Dangers.
Are game is based on the glaciers, the reason is that there is to much CO2 in the air that is making the animals that adapted to them will become endangered!
We have completed all the scenes of are game.
Most of are team page is complete, we just need to add a few things.
Well we do not have to complete a lot of work, we are almost done with this assingment.
What I can do to finish before friday is for me to work on are team page.
The grade I would give myself would be a 90, because I have worked really hard and I admite I have improved with my skills.
The things I have learn this whole year are a lot but the main one is to how to work better with animations in flash and how to add code.
The main thing I am proud of from Globaloria is that I really improved and I might have a chanc to make a amazing game in the future.
The way I can improve next years is by improving working with flash, just like I did this year. I do trust on myself I would succed that goal.

So the celebrity I would attach to my game would be Prince Royce because he is a bachata singer. I really love the way his musics sounds. Maybe with him in are game some fans of him will play are game and learn about the danger thats ocurring in with the glacers. If we maybe we have him say something about are game on tv or at concerts he has there will be a posability a lot of fans will play are game and see what we are trying to educate the world.
I would market my game by going on shows and maybe even on tv. I think with attaching Prince Royce we will really catch peoples atention.

I think the students from Massachusetts, have a good idea. I think that are school should do the same and raise up to 5,000 dollars or more so we can be a good help for the people. It will be a good help to Japan, by saving up a little bit of money and sending them food. Its a sad moment seen all that happen in just seconds. I don't know what I would do if I were to be in the place of all the people that have been killed.
Another thing I would do is talk to some people located neer where there has been tsunamis, to tell them to leave there home and come to the U.S. for a while, because there might be a chance there will be another one neer by. So lets not take chances and save baby's, kids, and parents life's. I think this is a good idea because its less chances of more people being killed from this tragedy.
